Funerals
The "Funeral Pre-Plan" form is intended to help you with the choices of Music, the Old and New Testament readings and the flow of the Funeral Liturgy. All of the choices on the form provide you with the opportunity to select your own preference.
Secular Music is not permitted in the liturgy, and some of the suggested songs are not permitted during the Lenten Season.
When the form is completed you may print it or save it to your computer. We cannot keep your choices on file for you.
The normal flow after the death of your loved one is contacting your chosen Funeral Director. The funeral director is very familiar with the logistical nuances regarding procedures, to name a few, coordinating the wake service, opening the grave site, obtaining Mass times, composing and publishing the obituaries, all of which have choices that you will need to accomplish. After all of that is accomplished you will need to come to the parish office to review and finalize the choices you made on your "Funeral Pre-Plan.
