Welcome to the St. Helen Library

The Mission of the St. Helen Parish Library is to provide you with good books, DVD's and CD's to help you and your family to grow closer to the Lord. Together, let us become disciples of Jesus and go out to evangelize our spouses, children, extended family, the workplace and the world. Let's be the change, like the Apostles and Early Christians, to Christianize our world once again!
Our catalog is online! Patrons can search for items by title, author, subject, and keyword.
To access the online catalog, click here

The Parish Library is open after all of the Sunday morning Masses, 8:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

Volunteers Welcome: Many thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help staff the Parish Library! More volunteers would be most welcome. If there are enough volunteers willing to cover 30 minutes immediately following the Saturday 5:00 p.m. vigil Mass and/or the Sunday 5:00 p.m. Life Teen Mass, these times could be added. If you are 18 or older and are willing to volunteer for these time slots, please contact us: E-Mail or call 440-564-5805.

Passing on the Faith: A Gift of the Theology of the Body
Parents and grandparents, research has shown that families that successfully pass the Catholic faith on to their children do so when the source of the warmth of their homes comes from them living the faith themselves. Dr. Greg Popcak (Psychologist) and his wife Lisa (Certified Family- Life Coach) have a live radio program, on the EWTN app, Monday through Friday from 10:00 - 11:00.  Their podcasts can be accessed through the EWTN and  Ave Maria Radio apps.  Dr. Greg and Lisa, the developers of Catholic Households on Mission, also have an online platform dedicated to assisting families to pass the faith on to their children.  [www.CatholicHOM.com].
We have all of Dr. Greg's books in the library. They span human life through the lens of the Theology of the Body - from birth through adulthood, including parenting, marriage, relationships in marriage and for single people.

These books are featured on their own dedicated shelves in your parish library:
 How to Find True Love
The Life God Wants You to Have: Discovering the Divine Plan when human plans fail
Broken Gods: Hope, healing, and the seven longings of the Human Heart
For better… forever: A Catholic guide to life-long marriage
